Mesquite Specialty Hospital (the “LTCH”) and its pharmacy, located at 1024 North Galloway Avenue, Mesquite, TX 75149 will cease operations as a long-term acute care hospital effective September 1, 2026. On September 15, 2026, the LTCH’s 34 non-ICU beds will be added as inpatient rehabilitation facility beds to Rehabilitation Hospital of Mesquite (aka Mesquite Rehabilitation Institute (the “IRF”), located at 1023 North Belt Line Road, Mesquite, TX 75149. The IRF’s bed count will increase from 30 IRF beds to 64 IRF beds.
